On this tour, cycle up with a local host through the forest of the Alhambra, learning the story of the creation of this wonder. Ride up through a typical olive farm and visit the birthplace of the spring that has fed the Alhambra since the 13th century. Enjoy the background view of the highest mountains in mainland Spain, the Sierra Nevada.
The highlight of the tour is the stunning bird’s-eye view of the Alhambra palace, the Albaicín and Sacromonte. The spot is uniquely remote and tourist-free.
When the sun sets, ride down through Silla del Moro and, on your way back, discover an often overlooked side of Granada: the old Jewish neighbourhood of Realejo.

- Sacromonte viewpoint: a unique area full of cave houses and flamenco traditions.
- Realejo: ride through the historic Jewish quarter.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Meeting point: Plaza de Cuchilleros 12, next to Plaza Nueva. From Bar La Trastienda, walk up the street on the right; our office is on the left.
- Start time: about 2 hours before sunset, so it changes with the season. You see the exact time in the booking calendar.
- Included: e-bike, helmet, local instructor.
- Languages: English and Spanish, often French.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour.

- Bring a light jacket: it gets cooler on the hill after sunset.
- This tour rides around the Alhambra hill and does not go inside the Alhambra palace.

You need to know how to ride a bike. Granada is built on hills, with steep, narrow and cobbled streets, so you should be comfortable braking, keeping your balance at low speed and starting on a slope. The electric motor does most of the work uphill.

Our S-size bikes fit people from 150 cm (4 ft 11 in). We also have child bikes from 140 cm (4 ft 7 in). If you hesitate, you can come and try!
Usually fewer than 6 people. If you come with friends and family and you are more than 6, we provide 2 instructors or more. For a personal instructor, book the private option.
The Sunset tour shows Granada from above, from the Alhambra hill, with nature and almost no tourists. The Albaicín & Sacromonte tour rides through the old neighbourhoods themselves, with their streets, squares and caves.
Granada is in the mountains, so the weather can change fast and differ from the forecast. Your instructor decides with the group before the tour starts. If we call the tour off because of the weather, you can cancel free of charge. Tours can still go ahead in light rain.
